Yuzu Purée - Review by Carole
I purchased this product from you. I was quite surprised about the BIG size bottle. It won't fit in any of my cupboards. I would have preferred a smaller bottle. However, I did enjoy the flavor in club soda, on pancakes and vanilla ice cream. But, it will take a LONG time to use this up even though I have a Bed & Breakfast. By the time I received the bottle I was near the end of my busy season. It would have been best in the spring (Most of my guests are here for their children at nearby private school). Tourists visit DE and go to the beach not to historic towns. If all of your products are this size I won't be buying any for awhile since I don't have the space for such BIG bottles. When I first sampled the Yuzu Puree, I thought it tasted like the lemons cousin; it was quite lovely.
I decided to make some Yuzunade out of it; here's what I concluded.
The Yuzunade cannot stand alone and should not be a substitute for lemonade.
To improve on it's taste, I tossed in a packet of Strawberry Kool-Aide and this made all the difference.
The tasted turned out like a fruit punch you would find at a school dance; in the punch bowl with diced pieces of fruit in it.
