Starts out good - Review by Craig
I use this with a Sodastream and hands down it tastes better than the horrible taste of the Sodastream brand cola.
The Monín brand tastes good, but by the end of the glass has a decidedly Rootbeer flavor. Unfortunately I agree with most of the world outside the U.S. and think that rootbeer tastes like 'medicine.'
With so many other flavors available from Monín I am looking forward to experimenting with different combinations! (Posted on 4/7/2019)

Never going back to high fructose cola. - Review by Donna
My husband was addicted to soda. Diabetes runs in his family so I suggested he try Monin sugarcane cola and seltzer water then tops it off with sodastream carbonater for extra carbonation. By the time he finished one 750 ml bottle of syrup he stated he would never go back to other cola products as they are too sweet. Never thought I would hear that statement from him. Bought a soda stream so I could use this product. - Review by Michael
TL;DR: If you are looking for a true "Cola Syrup" look no further. It hits similar notes to coke' and is way more economical than trying to find/purchase Coke from Mexico/Europe, or Kosher Coke.
My Soda adventure started right around the time the "REAL CANE SUGAR" craze hit the mainstream market. Once I tasted my favorite brands with real sugar I could not go back to the stuff flavored with high-fructose corn syrup (the difference is drastic). Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on your view) these products did not last and I was left searching for a replacement. So I bought a soda siphon and started trying various brands. Many of the ones that I tried had flavors that I did not want (such as lemon, or lime). The closest thing I found was soda stream cola but it tasted so artificial (likely due to it being sweetened with Splenda/Sucralose in addition to sugar. All those woe's went away when I found this syrup. High quality ingredients, consistent flavor, and I was hooked. I even upgraded to a soda stream so I could start making my mocktails and cocktails with greater ease. (Posted on 3/15/2018)
Memorable - Review by Judy
When I was a little child, we had this little red coco-cola machine that would dispense coke from a tap. You could put as much or as little of the cola syrup in and get exactly the cola concentrate you'd like. I loved it! I always wondered if one could buy cola syrup anywhere today to make that childhood memory of strong cokes I loved. Now I've found my cola syrup! And it has genuine kola nut flavor. This is the bomb! I really appreciate Monin bringing back the cola syrup I once knew as a child. I just squirt a gob of it on top of my ice and let the ice melt into the syrup, don't even need the soda water, but would be good also. Happy camper! (Posted on 5/17/2017)
What happened??? - Review by Kellye
I have been using the Monin Sugarcane Cola flavor for several years but my last two orders the flavor has changed. Now it has a lemon/citrus after taste. I am very disappointed and would like to know why there is a change to the formula!! I can't drink this flavor now and I'll be returning my last order. Please bring back the original!! Phenomenal - Review by Kari
We bought this to use with our soda stream machine. Fantastic, better than coke/pepsi or artisan/organic colas. Also for the soda stream we sometimes mix it 1/3 Monin Sugarcane Cola to 2/3 diet syrup. Amazing. Will be a customer for life, no going back. Please make a diet/sugar free cola version of this.
