Beverage Innovation Director
Shelby joins Monin as a Certified WSET Level 2: Wine and Spirits Specialist and USBG Spirits Professional with 17 years in the hospitality industry under her belt. She has developed drinks for everything from private social events and weddings to culinary festivals and chef owned restaurant menus. Through her career she has had the opportunity to not only work closely with leaders in the spirits and distribution realm, but she has also enjoyed culinary experience and training with Michelin rated chefs, which translates to utilization of less traditional ingredients and focus on tight, meaningful presentation. Shelby comes to us most recently from Edison Food + Drink Lab here in Tampa where she was their Beverage Director and, time after time, submitted award winning menus that garnered local and national acclaim. She brings a wealth of knowledge from not only a mixology standpoint, but management and event coordination as well. She enjoys living in an area with a rapidly growing food and beverage scene and looks forward to developing cocktails with emerging trends for Monin and their clients.
