Monin Americas adds renowned mixologist, Andrew Pollard, as Beverage Innovation Director of its west coast operations

 

 

 

Reno-Sparks, Nev./ Clearwater, Fla. (January 21, 2021) – Monin Americas announced Andrew Pollard, award-winning mixologist, as its new Beverage Innovation Director of west coast operations in Sparks, Nevada.

 

Pollard boasts more than 20 years of experience in the beverage industry including his most recent position as the Assistant Director of Beverage Development for Wynn Resorts where he was responsible for overseeing the cocktail menu and beverage programming for 27 Wynn outlets.  

 

During his career, Pollard cultivated extensive experience as a bartender in Las Vegas’ top nightclubs, menu consultant, brand ambassador, and liquor distributor as well as opened multiple restaurants, bars, and hotels around the country. He has also served as both the President and Vice President of the local United States Bartender’s Guild (USBG).

 

“Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of bars, restaurants and hotels around the country. Creating beverage recipes has always been a passion of mine and to find a position to create freely -- incorporating trends found around the world, experimenting with flavor profiles and creating new menu items for companies throughout North America – alongside a company possessing generations of experience will be an exciting new chapter for me,” said Andrew Pollard.

 

Pollard’s accolades include recognition as Best Mixologist in Las Vegas, Best Cocktail Program in Las Vegas, the first recipient of the Tony Abou-Ganim Paragon Award and a multiple award winner of several local and national cocktail competitions.
