  • Love, at first - Review by Alicia
The first week of using the pump with the dark chocolate sauce was extremely easy to use. After that, forget it. You are forced to pour from the bottle because the sauce crystallizes. I've disassembled, washed the pump, nothing helped. I bought another one thinking it was a faulty pump with no such luck. PLEASE MONIN, make a pour spout for the 64oz bottle with a wide enough spout the sugar crystals can pass through. (Posted on 12/1/2018)
  • Works Well - Review by Danielle
Just make sure the tube is really connected to the pump. My sauce stopped coming out only to find out the tube was stuck in the chocolate sauce. Finally got it out and made sure I pushed it in as far as I could so hopefully it wont happen again. Would like a cap for the pump like the other pumps have. (Posted on 9/4/2016)
  • Chocolate pump stopper - Review by Pam
From one Grandma to another. When I first started using this pump years ago, I mentioned to my husband that I didn't want the opening to dry up. He promptly went into our household construction drawer and brought out a new door stopper - the kind that goes into the baseboard - it has a spring with the white stopper. He opened the package, pulled off the white stopper and it fits the end of the pump perfectly. It keeps the end clean and stops it from drying out between uses (and also makes sure my cat doesn't think he needs to get up there in the middle of the night to clean it for me). Give it a try. • Don't buy for chocolate - Review by Soopie
It hardens up and you can't pump. Works fine with caramel sauce. Their customer service is great and they replaced it free of charge but it stopped working within 2 weeks. Bummer because I like how it measures for a consistent drink. Only product from Monin I haven't liked. (Posted on 7/9/2015)
  • Chocolate dries at pump opening - Review by Grandma
I use the pump once a day. The chocolate dries in the opening of the pump, so each day I have to clean out the opening to allow the chocolate to come out. The pump works fine as long as I clean out the dried chocolate - an extra step that I would love to not have to do daily. (Posted on 6/3/2015)
