The HR/Administrative Assistant is a key role at Monin. This position is the first point of contact for all visitors and inbound phone calls. The ideal candidate will have a friendly personality while also being very perceptive and detail oriented. A customer-oriented approach is essential. Along with being the main point of contact this individual will provide high-level administrative support such as conducting research, handling information requests and performing clerical functions including correspondence, arranging conference calls, scheduling meetings and training. Provides day to day support for human resource operations and corporate administration.

 Essential Job Functions:
  • Performs data entry
  • Assists with recruiting and onboarding functions
  • Assists with scheduling new-employee orientations
  • Assists with HR projects – I9’s, Workers Comp etc.
  • Scans, faxes and files documents
  • Ensure the front lobby and facility is ready each day to receive customers
  • Greet guests promptly and sign in, provide GMPs and visitors badges
  • Answer phone calls promptly and with superior customer service and handle/direct to others as appropriate
  • Place orders for office supplies as needed
  • Secure the front office space at the close of business
  • Other essential or non-essential duties may be assigned
  • Uphold companies Mission and Values
  • Five years’ administrative/analytical experience in an office setting; college degree may substitute for three year’s work experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
  • Professionalism at all times when interacting with employees and customers
  • Data analysis skills
  • Advanced MS Office skills in Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Experience with Microsoft Navision a plus
  • Flexible and works well under pressure, independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to proficiently handle multiple, diverse responsibilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills & problem solving skills
  • Takes initiative and thinks ahead to next steps
  • Deadline oriented
  • This position is compensated at an hourly rate and occasional overtime hours may be required.
