  • I really wanted to like this - Review by Joel
I probably would have liked this syrup if it actually tasted like gingerbread. Sadly it's missing the "bread" part of the equation. Like a previous reviewer mentioned, it tastes like ginger root and does have a bit of a odd fermented smell to it. My wife has some chewable gingerbon candies for settling upset stomach and this syrup actually tastes very much like those candies. It has the same strong ginger taste but nothing else to balance out the flavor to make it more like the gingerbread taste I had expected. I couldn't taste any of the cinnamon or nutmeg it mentions in the description. If you like a strong taste of ginger and want that taste mixed into your coffee then you'll probably enjoy this. However, if you're expecting a nice sweet gingerbread cookie kind of flavor, this is not the syrup you are looking for. (Posted on 11/6/2018)
  • Did not like - Review by Jay
Unfortunately, this syrup was my least favorite of the eight I tried. I actually ended up having to dispose of it because it wasn't worth keeping around. I think it's not a well-rounded gingerbread, more of a "heavy on the spices" gingerbread which wasn't very pleasant. (Posted on 6/11/2018)
  • This keeps me aglow in winter - Review by Facepainter.com
I love the gingerbread syrup, combined with a homemade latte it keeps me aglow in winter. (Posted on 2/14/2017)
  • Have loved this for years - Review by Karina
I used to work at Starbucks, and I love all things ginger (and pumpkin). Starbucks Gingerbread has more of a fresh gingery-kick to it. This picks up on more of the "gingerbread" with the sweeter, cinnamon spices. I love both a lot, and I used to go to Peet's to get my gingerbread lattes. Now I buy this in the winter and make my own gingerbread coffee. (Posted on 9/16/2016)

  • Should have bought a case so good. - Review by Candice
Bought a bottle of this to mimic drink I had with JD and caramel sauce. Infused the gingerbread syrup with club soda to make the perfect holiday cocktail. This makes a uniquely flavored drink your guest wouldn't normally try. Wonderful flavor. (Posted on 1/3/2016)

Tastes like ginger root instead of gingerbread. Yucky!! And too strong of an alcohol flavor and smell (Posted on 6/21/2015)
