Introducing the flavour of the year - Passion Fruit!

With a tangy and fruity twist, Passion Fruit Syrup is the star of 2022.

And its greatest companions? Chocolate, vanilla and fruits such as citrus, seeded fruits or red fruits.

Its sweet and sour taste also works beautifully with other exotic fruits such as mango or pineapple. In summer, it loves to dive into lemonades and iced teas. It's also a VIP guest in the Maverick Martini along with vanilla and vodka.

Where does it come from?

Brazil! It’s rich in vitamins and renowned for its nutritional value. In fact, indigenous peoples cultivated it, among other things, for medicinal purposes. It was discovered at the end of the 16th century by the first Spanish missionaries, and then brought to Central America, Asia, Africa and the West Indies. In 1629, it finished its journey in Europe where it was introduced for the first time.

Did you know?

I'm often used in confectionery, as a substitute for cream. I have many different nicknames across the world, some call me maracuja or chinola. I can be round or oval-shaped, yellow, red, purple or green. My Passion Fruit flavor was one of the first syrups developed by MONIN.

"MONIN Passion Fruit syrup, with its intense tangy flavour is the perfect companion to enhance all of your beverages. It can be enjoyed as a Mojito with a twist, a Spritz, a fruity smoothie, an iced tea or an exotic Mai Tai cocktail."
