What are Monin's quality standards?
The goal at Monin Gourmet Flavourings is to produce the finest products available anywhere. In order to reach our goal, we implement rigorous procedures that ensure top quality at every stage of ingredient sourcing and production. Monin manufactures its products under a Hazard Analysis of Critical Control Points (HACCP) operating plan and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to minimize the risk of illness or injury.
Monin Inc. is SQF Certified which is part of the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) that was established to ensure confidence in the delivery of safer food to consumers, while continuing to improve food safety supply chain management. Under this global food safety standard, Monin’s worldwide commitment focuses on the safety and quality of its products, manufacturing, storage, and distribution. GFSI-benchmarked food safety standards include: Safe Quality Food (SQF) and British Retail Consortium (BRC).
Additional auditing is conducted by the Kosher Supervision of America (KSA) and Islamic Food and Nutrition Council of America (IFANCA) to certify products Kosher and Halal. Quality Assurance International (Q.A.I.) certifies the plant for handling Organic products in accordance with the National Organic Program (NOP).
