• Syrup to Support Bee Colonies

  We recycle! At Monin, our syrup recycling initiative has been sending any syrup overages or waste to our buzzzzy neighbors in Tampa, FL at Bayshore Bees to help feed their bees. This important, exciting initiative has fed more than 374 billion bees since 2008 and has now expanded as our Sparks, NV production facility partners with Bearpaw Honey to continue our bee-feeding program out west!

• Clean In-Place (CIP) System /Wastewater Treatment Process

  Recently at our Clearwater plant, we implemented upgrades to our CIP system to ensure a smooth integration with the city’s wastewater system. Before water leaves our plant, a chiller reduces the temperature to 100-110F, and the pH is adjusted as needed. Our new plant in Sparks, Nevada has an in-house wastewater facility.

• Responsible Recycling

  Our packaging boxes consist of recycled content and are 100% recyclable. The boxes are printed with a biodegradable water-based ink that contains zero pollutants. We use molded pulp packaging inserts and absolutely no Styrofoam to ship our products. Our in-house label printer utilizes paper that is Elemental Chlorine Free and certified by the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council), two of the most important environmental qualities a paper can have. All Monin products are packaged in BPA free bottles.
